Cycle the Solstice
Hosted by The Cycle Works of Wrightsville, the 6th Annual Cycle the Solstice bicycle ride will benefit the Horn Farm Center.
Cycle the Solstice is a fun 30 or 62 mile ride through the beautiful Susquehanna River Watershed in York and Lancaster Counties. Each stop along the route features refreshments and information, giving riders the opportunity to enjoy the bounty of local farms, businesses, and healthy lifestyles our region has to offer.
Each ride will begin at the Horn Farm Center for Agricultural Education. Riders will use road blazes and cue sheets to ride their chosen loop at their own pace.
Along the way, riders will stop at local small farm businesses and markets for refreshments.
Upon completion of their loop, riders will return to the farm to enjoy a lunch made with fresh, local ingredients and, if desired, to tour the farm to see all of the exciting regenerative practices taking place at the farm.
Cost for Riders:
- Metric Century 62 Mile Ride – $32
- Heirloom 30 Miler Early Start – $27
- Heirloom 30 Miler Late Start – $27
Post-Ride musical entertainment will be provided by Bend the Rails, a soulful blend of gutsy folk, blues, and country music. A limited number of lunch tickets are available for those who prefer not to ride but want to enjoy the celebrations at the Horn Farm. Lunch tickets are $15/person and can be purchased on the registration page below.
